I am a mother, a wife, a friend, and a photographer.  Photography is the part of my life that has brought me here:

Welcome to my blog.  Here you can find my most recent work along with other tidbits from life's adventures.  I have had a camera in my hand since my first son was born 12 years ago.  Since then, what was a hobby, has flourished into an obsession and a career.  I find my passion for photography grows everyday.  Whether it is something new to learn, a new friend to make, or a new place to explore.  Photography challenges me, and allows me a creative outlet all at the same time.  So I welcome you to look around and get to know me a bit, feedback and conversation are always appreciated.  And check back often for new posts and stories!!!

Kelly and Mike; Wedding at Candlewood Inn, Brookfield, Connecticut

March 31, 2009 Wedding

Once again I had the opportunity to second shoot for Mr. Amazing himself Eric Langlois of Raw Photo Design. It’s always a pleasure and a blast.
Meet Kelly and Mike….they were such a fun couple to work with. They were both very laid back and up for anything! Congratulations you guys! You both are a compliment to one another. I wish you many years of love and happiness!!!

Mystic Seaport: Mystic, Connecticut, Hanging With my Four Boys

Joe and I were crawling the walls this past weekend and decided we had to get out of the house. Although it was not the most perfect weather ever….we decided to head over to Mystic Seaport with the boys for the day.

We all had a ball…Bran and Noah got to run around, and Christian got to hang out with Joe and I and have great conversation. I got to play with my new camera, and so Joe got to have a camera to himself for once. It was a blast. With the busi-ness that goes on in this family on a day to day basis, it was nice just to BE…
Just to be with my boys, with nowhere to go……and nowhere to be!

Christian again….I thought this made an interesting shot….

Guess who got to play? I’m not going to lie this shot does something for me :)

Joe took this shot of the reflection in a window.

And Joe took this shot of me against this uber cool wall that we found on our way out of Mystic.

Bran lost both of his front teeth 2 days apart, I wanted to get a shot of the toothless wonder before the big ones come in.

I love the look in Christian’s eyes here…so intense!

This is going to be a canvas on my wall in the very near future!!!!!

I love this shot! I love how all 3 of them are doing something different with their hands. And how Bran is trying to be just like Christian by giving me “the stare”, and how Noah has no clue what to do!…Priceless.

Crystal and Matt; Wedding at The Candlewood Inn, Brookfield, Connecticut

March 10, 2009 Wedding

It’s so nice to be back into the wedding season. I got to second shoot again this past weekend with Eric Langlois from Raw Photo Design. It was a warm, sun shining, unnatural New England spring day! Crystal and Matt couldn’t of asked for more perfect weather in March. I had an absolute blast with Eric and Crystal and Matt. It was a picturesque day and couldn’t of been a better start to the wedding season. So without further a-do here are some of my favorite shots from the day!

The guys in their Irish hats….looking all “pimp”

This shot was taken moments before Crystal walked down the isle. I just love the anticipation and reflection in the moment. Seems intense, but only I know what these guys were actually talking about (wink, wink).

The ring bearer Luke, who finally made it into his jacket :)

I love the way Crystal is looking at Matt in this shot. The priest is talking about forgivness in your marrage and knowing when to let things go and how to give “the look”. I’d say Crystal has that down :)

Walking out onto the dock for some more “Raw” photos.

And no wedding is complete without a shot of Tom dancing with the bride. I wonder if we can talk him into joining the “Dream Team” just as a wedding favor? I think they are dancing to “Living on a prayer”, but it reminds me of “Eye of the Tiger” from the look in Crystal’s eyes.
