So, team BTL is officially on vacation.  Well, Joe and I are with the boys, although we love Rebecca Hales, we had to leave her at home with her husband!  There is some good news though!  Alexis and Phil completely owed their wedding photos on Friday, and Ashley & Vin nailed their wedding at Lymann Orchards on Saturday.  Since team BTL killed it…there will be plenty of blogging going on in September!!!

But until then….I thought I would leave you with some candid family photos that we took while camping with our very good friends Ethan & Cynthia, and Patrick (another very close family friend making his bliggity blog debut).  I would go through and comment on all of these pictures, cause let’s be serious people, I’m never at a loss for words and some of these are pretty hilarious (especially if you were there)……but I just don’t have that kind of time!  Not to mention, the funniest moment was when Cynthia and I went wondering through the wilderness in the middle of the night and wound up falling down a 5 foot ravine (I faired better than her, as she was a true friend and broke my fall), and when our brand new camping kitchen (yes the pimp one from Cabelas, be jealous Pat) got raided by skunks while we were all still awake.  Of course we chased them through the woods, what do we look like people, amateurs?  While neither of these moments were actually documented, here on the blog we have some kiddie love going on (Noah is a pimp and Elaina is not having it), and my personal favorite Pat picture “TOUCH MY CORN AND DIE”!

Hopefully Hurricane Danielle will miss the Carolina shores, but Tropical storm Earl is right on her toes threatening our OBX time.  I wonder if God got the memo that I’m going on vacation???
