Ahem………
Guest blogging today is Dorian Patrick! As you all know Dorian is my primary (one and only) second shooter this season, but he also has become my associate shooter. We will do a more formal introduction over the off season, but until then, I thought it only right that we get this insanely awesome engagement shoot onto the blog that he did for up coming clients Chrissy and Ryan……so without further chit chat……
Meet Chrissy & Ryan. These two are tying the knot on the first of October, so we spent a little time getting to know each other and oh yeah… we took a couple pictures too. We started off at this awesome little wine/tapas/brick oven pizza joint in downtown Fairfield just chatting and hangin’ out.
When it came time to actually take some pictures, these two absolutely killed it! We strolled around downtown Fairfield stopping at the community theater where we entertained a small crowd of onlookers waiting on a bus. Chrissy & Ryan were completely unfazed (I think they may have actually liked it). Awesome! We then cruised over the bridge to the Fairfield Metro North Station that Ryan leaves from every morning to get into the city. Like most rational people, Ryan had trouble seeing the awesomeness that is our everyday surroundings. Some of the most “mundane” things (like dodging commuters on a set of rather utilitarian stairs) can really make for a pretty sweet image. Next up we drove over to Saint Mary’s by the Sea and then on to Jenning’s Beach where we finished our day hangin’ in the sand.
I’ve got to tell you, these two are ridiculously comfortable in front of the camera. All I had to do is say go over there and be cute and this is what happened. Yeah they make a pretty cute couple
