Laura is super quiet and quirky and Kevin is equally quiet and pretty bashful.  I swear he blushes constantly!  I LOVED hanging out with these two!  They are so relaxing and “Zen-ish” (yup I’m creating new words as I go)!  We just hung out documenting who they are and what they like to do together….which is….just chill!

Thank you both for being so genuine, so refreshing, and so true to who you are! I loved every minute of hanging out with you guys and can’t wait till your wedding later this year!

This is my favorite shot from Laura and Kevin’s session…so cute, so symbolic of who they are…and soooooo breaking the rules!  Laura “borrowed” this statue of Buddha from her neighbor’s roof top!  That’s why they are having such a hard time keeping a Buddha-esq face!  LOVE this!!!

Another awesome tid-bit about these two and breaking all the rules…there is no engagement ring!!!  Cause they didn’t see the big deal!  I LOVE IT!!!  However…we all know how much I love ring shots, so I told them we had to substitute!  When Laura and Kevin were dating she was taking care of a dog named poppy.  They used to go on long walks with the dog around Manhattan while they were falling in love.  Laura kept the name tag of Poppy and I was so excited when she asked if that would do…YES!
