Chris and Karen were married in a quaint ceremony at The Candlewood Knolls Club House in New Fairfield CT. The celebration included a ceremony presided over by Mark Boughton; the mayor of Danbury; a raw bar for cocktail hour, a lobster bake during the reception and…as if all of that wasn’t enough…. a whole lot of crazy during their reception. Before we start with their wedding day story….l want to give a big Thank you to Mrs. Rebecca Hales for team shooting this one, once again…….she completes me
!!!! I would also like to thank Emily Chalk of East of Ellie (an events company) for the flawless flow of the day, and Meredith Russo Cleary & Kathryn Russo of Pygmalion Design for all of the fabulous details!
Here are the ladies getting ready….

Here are a few detail shots from Rebecca while she was with the guys.

We did a first look for Chris and KAren so we could utilize all of that precious time prior to the ceremony for our formal pictures.

Love these shots that Rebecca got of the flower girls!

More flower girl coverage from Rebecca…

I love all of these little details that Rebecca always seems to be able to capture while I’m doing the formals!

More from Rebecca!!!

Both the ladies and the guys left our “first look” location on a boat so they could arrive to the ceremony by boat. When the guys pulled up to the club house…I could tell immediatly something was different, but I couldn’t put my finger on exactly what…..

Then it hit me….they had forgotten to shave….that’s right people, you don’t get this kind of attention to detail from every photographer!!!![]()

All I can really say about this wedding is….DETAILS, DETAILS, DETAILS!!!!! Here is a combination effort from Rebecca and I on the details….

More details from both Rebecca and I….

I love this little combo….talk about just loving life! Chris and Karen are two of the most “go with the flow-loving every minute of it” kind of people I have ever met. How many brides do you know that are confident enough to wear a lobster bib on their wedding day!!! You go girl!
The two shots on the left are Rebecca’s the two on the right are mine…

Here is another combination of shots from Rebecca and I from all of the crazy dancing that went on!

I love this series I got of Karen….too funny!

I don’t know what wild and crazy wedding reception would be complete without some break dancing. The first two shots are mine the 3rd one is Rebecca’s! Love the air she caught!!

The DJ decided to play “I had the time of my life” from Dirty Dancing as one of the last songs of the evening. Somehow….I wasn’t surprised by the being able to get the next group of shots. Mine are the first two, Rebecca’s is the bottom one! Yes we are the dynamic duo! How did I resist getting “lifted” you may ask? All the self control I could muster!!!

Of course there was cake to be cut!

Though this might count in some people’s book as a foul…I love this shot that Rebecca got of the cake cutting…..all a matter of interpretation, but I think it’s killer!

Friends of the wedding party or typical vendors? You decide!

And, last but not least….THE CLAW!!!!!!!!

I just want to say one more time how much fun I had shooting this wedding!!!! Chris and Karen, you two are so much fun and I hope you both continue to enjoy life to it’s fullest!!!
