Jesse and Charlotte were married this past weekend at Crest Hollow Country Club in Woodbury, NY. I can’t really start this post without pointing out how much Jesse and Charlotte have become two of Joe’s and my favorite people. Here is another one of those situations where I know we have made a life long connection. Yes, I see many late evenings will be spent in the Big Apple with these two in the coming months full of lots of stories and laughter! Jesse and Charlotte are two of the most compassionate, considerate and giving people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Through the whole process of planning this wedding, they have been so concerned with the comfort of all of their families and friends. I honestly have felt humbled to of been a part of this day for them and to have had the opportunity to get to know them and to call them friends.
I also wanted to give a big shout out to Mrs. Rebecca Hales of Hales Studio for second shooting this with me. We also had Joe on drums (cause there was no way Joe was missing this one after getting to know Charlotte and Jesse)!
Without further adieu here they are……
Some moody lighting for the dress shot.

This next set is Rebecca’s shots of Jesse and the guys while they were getting ready.

Here is Charlotte while she gets on her dress. Jesse’s mother also watched. There were some really special moments going on here between Charlotte and her mother. Of course I cried too….Can’t help it!

Jess and Charlotte opted for a first look! The first one is Jesse making Charlotte wait for him to turn around! The second one is Rebecca’s take on the scene.

Here Jesse starts to tear up as Charlotte is escorted by her mother and brother. Such a sweet moment!

Rebecca took this first shot of Jesse’s parents enjoying the ceremony, while I took the shot on the right of Charlotte’s Mother watching too.

Jesse and Charlotte had butterflies released right after their first kiss!

And here are some of the portraits we took……

Rebecca took this shot of both of the mothers watching as we arranged formal shots.

After the ceremony we headed out to the cocktail hour to shoot some of the details…and there was a ton!

Love this shot that Rebecca got of these two during the cocktail hour. Needless to say this went on all night!

And of course there were lots of details during the reception!

Jesse and Charlotte started with a slow dance and then finished it up with a meringue!

Then Jesse danced with his mother and Charlotte danced with her brother.

And there were 3 very heart felt toasts, one of which managed to really embarrass Jesse![]()

I absolutely loved the cake and how it tied into the butterflies from the ceremony!

During the reception there was dancing, break dancing, and lots of smiles!!!!!

And a rendition of what I believe was the alma-mater from Jesse’s college.

This small stautue was maid by a member of Charlotte’s family that could not attend the wedding. It is a little Canadian guy courting a little Colombian girl….so sweet!

Thank you again Jesse and Charlotte for such an amazing day. Team BTL had a blast and I know we will see you both again very soon!
