I just want to start this post off by saying how much I appreciated having to drive the .07 miles from my house to The Cornwall Inn this past weekend to take part in Pearl and Cathy’s wedding! In this crazy business I enjoy being able to venture all over Connecticut, New York, Rhode Island, and Massachusetts, BUT…it does my heart good sometimes to get to do what I love and be right here at home![]()
But, that is not the point of my post! Meet Pearl and Cathy. Pearl contacted me a few months ago in regard to her and Cathy’s wedding day coverage, and after having a few conversations I completely fell in love with these two. Talk about two people who are just loving life and enjoying every minute? Pearl and Cathy had a very small and intimate civil union ceremony and Joe and I had such a blast with these ladies and all of the friends and family they had attend. The day was filled with a TON of tears. Several times throughout the day I had to wipe tears from my eyes! Between the vows, the toasts, and all of the celebration, it was just an amazing day and something I feel so honored to of been a part of. A big thank you to Pearl and Cathy for having Joe and I document their truly special day! Also a huge thank you to Mark and Stacey for all of their hospitality! If you’re ever over here in the woods, or taking a leisurely drive up Rt. 7, be sure to stop in for a frothy beverage (Mark now has CT’s home brewed Hooker on tap) or an amazing meal.
