Sara & Amnon were married on July 11, at The Barns in Middletown CT. I know that I say this a lot, so it may seem old, but I think it is a true testimate to the process I go through in seeking out my clients and my clients seeking me….
I LOVE MY CLIENTS!!! Sara and Amnon are no exception. From the first time I meet them I feel in love with their sweetness. They both come across as very timid and shy, but it takes very little time being around them before you realize…yes they are both shy, and prefer to not bask in the spot light, but they are both full of strength, very intelligent and have no problem giving their opinion. Just all around sweet and completely lovable. It must just be a gift I have for getting to know people or an understanding, but I realized these things about them very early on after spending time with them, and thank goodness I did. They surely have become 2 of my favorite people and I can’t say enough how much I looked forward to shooting their wedding and being a part of something so real!
Thank you both from the bottom of my heart for the opportunity to really get to know you both, and to of been trusted to tell your love story. You both are amazing people and I know together you are going to do wonderful things!!!
Again I want to thank the very gracious and talented Rebecca Hales of Hales Studio, who has proven over the course of this season to be a huge asset to team BTL! I am so lucky to have her![]()
Ohhh and let’s not forget Joe…on drums! Most of my clients get to know him right along with me….and he’s lovable….I think anyhow![]()
Before I get to far ahead…here are some of the details of their wedding day…

Here is a nice moody shot of the dress that Joe got…..

And Joe also got this awesome shot of Sara looking at herself in the mirror!

The one below in the right is another great shot that Joe got.

These next 3 are from Rebecca as she was covering the guys.

Sara and Amnon did a first look at the hotel prior to the signing of the Ketubah.

The Ketubah was georgous and I loved grabbing all of these emotional shots as Sara and Amnon signed it!

Joe also got these shots of the ring barer while I was shooting the formals…..how cute is he?

Both of the shots below are Joe’s and I just love how different he shoots from me…it’s awesome to see the same moment through someone else’s eyes and see what they were seeing during a time when you were seeing something different…I love it!!!

So you know how there is always that moment at a wedding when I cry? I never know when it is going to be, but at some point it always sneaks up on me. Here, Amnon’s sister gave a beautiful toast to Amnon and Sara and spoke in detail about the absence of their father since he passed. It was very clear what a profound effect his absence had not only for Amnon, on such a monumental day in his life, but what a cornerstone he was and still is in his family. I had to stop taking photos just because, at some point as a photographer you need to know when a moment has become something bigger than you, or anyone else for that matter. I knew that moment had occurred here, and as I turned to walk off the floor and gather my self, I realized there wasn’t a dry eye in the room…Joe and Rebecca included!

Here Sara and Amnon are watching a slideshow of lifelong pictures that had been created for them.
